Special Educator Recruitment 2022

Online applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to prepare a shortlist for 11 months contract work on temporary basis till the permanent recruitment of the posts of Special Educator under the mentioned different categories for differently abled students at cluster level in the schools of the State under whole education.


Candidate age limit for all the above posts will be up to 35 years as on the last date of online application.


Candidates have to apply online at http://www.ssagujarat.org website and click on Recruitment. Candidates should first read the instructions/guidelines regarding essential qualification, age limit, type of appointment and remuneration for the said posts placed on the website before applying. No application in person, post or courier will be accepted at State Project Office and District Project Office. Applications sent thereafter will not be considered valid.


The candidate will have to be present with the printout of the online application along with one xerox copy of the required certificates, passport size photographs and original certificates for verification whenever called in person for verification of certificates.

Eligibility Criteria

Special dated 31/06/2015 of Social Justice Authority Department, Secretariat, Gandhinagar Educator Qualification Standards.

- Age should not be more than 35 years.

- Established or constituted in India by or under a Central or State Act from any of the Universities or another recognized as such or declared as Deemed University under Section 3 of the Universities Grants Commission Act, 1956 Possessing a Bachelor's degree from any educational institution (in any discipline). Should have or have equivalent qualification recognized by Govt. And


(1) For children with cerebral palsy (CP)

Special B.Ed.(Cerebral Palsy) Degree obtained from any of the Universities or Institutional Universities established under or under any Central or State Act in India or recognized as such or from any other educational institution declared as Deemed University under Section 3 of the Universities Grants Commission Act, 1956 Should possess or possess a Diploma in Special Education (Cerebral Palsy) from an institution recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India.


(2) Special Educator 

Hearing Impaired (l): from any of the Universities established or constituted under any Central or State Act in India or recognized as such or from any other educational institution declared as Deemed University under Section 3 of the Universities Grants Commission Act, 1956. Obtained Special B.Ed. Should possess Degree of Hearing Impaired (HI) or Diploma in Special Education Hearing Impaired (HI) from an institution recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India.


(3) Intellectual Disability (ID)/(MR) For Children with Mental Retardation

Special B.Ed.(Intellectual Disability)/ MR) should possess a degree in Mental Disability or should possess a Diploma in Special Education (Intellectual Disability) (MR) in Mental Disability from an institution recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India.


(4) For Multiple Disability (MD) children 

Any other educational institution established or established under any Central or State Act in India or recognized as such or declared as Deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 Special B.Ed obtained from the institute. (Multiple Disability) or Diploma in Special Education (Multiple Disability) from an institution recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India.


(5) Special Educator 

Visual Impaired (VI): from any of the Universities established or established under the Central or State Act in India or recognized as such or from any other educational institution declared as Deemed University under Section 3 of the Universities Grants Commission Act, 1956 Obtained Special B.Ed. Should possess a degree in Visual Impaired (VI) or Diploma in Special Education Visual Impaired (VI) from an institution recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India.
